Our Lay Chaplains perform these Rites of Passage for the general public in the Peel-Halton Regions and surrounding areas.
These men and women are not ministers of religion, but provincially licensed lay people and are members of our congregation, specially trained to provide these services.
Fees for ceremonies are discussed in advance with the Lay Chaplain.

This is a service available to the wider community, resulting from a desire on the part of many to have a personalized, significant and unique service for their Rite of Passage whether it be faith-based or civil and regardless of sexual orientation.
UCSP has five experienced Lay Chaplains, who are licensed under the Marriage Act of Ontario, serving the Peel and Halton Regions and surrounding areas
The Lay Chaplains: Ellen Newman, Ann Bone, Carol Gilliam, Carole Berry and Joanne Whitford take pride in guiding couples and families in designing memorable and joyful services.

The Unitarian Congregation in Mississauga has a new Worship Hall including catering facilities and is be suitable for any Rite of Passage ceremony, depending on the number of guests.
The new hall is available for rent. Please call the church office at 905-278-5622 for further information or to book space.
