HOW TO START TO WRITE NOVEL
Youve been reading novels for the longest time. You have a rich collection of novel books in your room and you just cant get enough. Youve always wanted to experience how is it to be the hero or heroine in a novel. And you know the closest that you can get to that is to write novel. But how on earth would you write a novel? Heres a guide for you to start with.
In writing a novel, think of a character that has conflict. He or she will be your main character, your protagonist. Decide on what your protagonist is going to be a her or she? Age? Name? Occupation etc? Think of different reasons why your protagonist would be placed in a difficult situation. Who are the people around him or her?
Second, design your plot. I would suggest using the Narrative Structure format where you would first introduce your protagonist then something happens to your protagonist. That something will forever change his or her life. Then there comes the second conflict in his or her life again. Then your protagonist decides whether he or she continues with whats hes or shes doing or just leaves. This will be followed by the climax then the resolution.
When you have characters and a plot, start writing.
