STORY

UCSP embarked on an ambitious Millennium renewal project to expand our facilities and update existing buildings. Our first step was to completely retrofit the rental building which has become the home of Tiny Treasures Montessori School.
Then the Great Hall was started, with the design of this building following green principles. This includes a building design to best use the property and its natural assets: energy conservation through the building systems, and choice of building materials

Our Steinway piano, originally donated by Walter Saks in memory of his wife, has been totally renovated and refinished. Its glorious sound complements the excellent acoustics of the Hall and new sound system.
The original two-story building has been brought up to all standards to accommodate the popular programs for children, as well as offices for our staff.

The Great Hall will be used for our regular Sunday services and a variety of activities: weddings, memorials and other ceremonies of significance for members and the general community. The Hall can accommodate up to 200 theatre-style, or 150 seated at tables. Our Auditorium is suitable for groups of 60.Rentals are arranged through the church administrator and our Rental Committee.
On completion there were already several bookings initiated, including a series of concerts offered by Windmill Theatre Productions Inc,  Sierra Club—Peel Group, and other events open to the public.
